The site for custom embroidered gear and apparel for those who call the leather and kink community home. Aurora Clothiers works hard everyday to come up with new design ideas and build the most unique quality apparel to grace anyone they can. After so many years it is a joy to finally have an online website to call my own to make some magic for those who want to stand out! The journey to this part of the business has been a winding and long story to make a dream come true and its just beginning!

Once Upon A Time,

Aurora Clothiers started back in 2011 as a place to find custom costumes and cosplay finding their work traveling all over the world as far as Belgium and Spain. I also worked as wardrobe crew for various touring theatrical productions including First National Tour of Hamilton, The King and I as well as Feld Presents Disney on Ice and Disney Live! There were also touring concerts including Janet Jackson and Rob Zombie with Marilyn Manson which introduced me to people all over the world. Then the pandemic came along and my dreams of packing up and touring the world were dashed and I had to rethink what I wanted to head.

Originally just a way to pass the time during the long days trapped inside I began to learn the technique of machine embroidery. I started doing small orders and decided to finally try my hand at a big event getting my first start at Mid Atlantic Leather 2022 when the world was waking up from its long sleep inside and coming back to life. With the world changed and waking up to a new reality I decided to step out into the world as a new person in a new market with little community experience taking the first step after a year or two of running through the dark woods of the pandemic years. It was a scary time to be trying something new especially with people who warned me how difficult and challenging the path ahead of me was. Though I was scared and intimidated I was lucky enough to make new friends that year who took me in and helped to support me in this new market and help find my new home in this community.

As the years went by I started going further on this journey and learning new techniques and meeting all the different groups under this diverse community. I am so lucky to have been taken in by this community and warmly welcomed while changing the field. I have made so many new friends in my adventures and gotten to see places I never thought I would go to. Since that first rocky year, I have done embroidery work for various leather clubs and organizations including Centaur MC, The Baltimore Shipmates, Hillside Campgrounds and was honored to create the embroidery for District Eagle that is worn proudly by the staff every night. Despite all the adventures, challenges, trials and occassional wicked witches that have appeared on my journey I have always sought to remain kind and sincere welcoming new people and helping them find something in themselves that they never thought possible. It always makes me happy to see someone stand tall and confident in something I made and become connected to an item that represents them so well there is a special bit of magic that cannot be explained and a special charm is bestowed upon them. Like the ruby slippers I hope each item that goes out helps their new owner find confidence and joy on their own journey. 

I still have a ways to go and I am always learning and developing to advance and make people feel confident and sexy in the work I create. The future can be daunting and the path treacherous but with friends by my side and a resolution to stay true to myself I am confident I can navigate my path to a Happily Ever After.
